Netspeak Games is a growing games studio with the need of Gameplay Engineers that will build, plan and implement key aspects of our games. Working closely with technical designers to ensure we can build out wholesome enjoyable experiences for players
Using Playcanvas working with HTML5 and WebGL to implement gameplay features
Take gameplay features from concept to completion through iterative development
Manage priorities efficiently and communicate clearly about any problems or blockers
Be the point of contact for features you’ve worked on, and be in charge of creating and updating any relevant documentation.
Work with the Commercial team to implement analytics to measure the impact of features
Netspeak aims to build worlds that people want to spend time in. Your mission is to bring life to those worlds through technology - by enabling the game teams to move faster and take bigger risks.
You will be building out the underlying systems and tools that Gameplay Engineers will be interfacing with on a daily basis.
Experience:
Strong knowledge of HTML5 and WebGl, ideally having worked with Playcanvas
Ability to break down complex technical problems into components and smaller parts for easier planning and prioritisation.
Experience with writing Design documents, Tech design docs and general documentation
Strong communication skills
Above all else, a willingness to learn!
